And the students riot

Today, our transportation was hindered by student riots in one part of the city.  It’s not clear to me what the riots were about, but we did hear that 5 cars were bombarded with rocks and other various makeshift clubs.  So, rather than find out up close what was going on, we instead just hunkered down. and waited it out.  So far, it’s the afternoon and I haven’t heard if this has been resolved.

From what I have heard, the police tend to do nothing in these situations as it’s likely they support the cause of the riots.
